Over the weekend there was a huge event with over 400 men and women in Kfar A’ara. Ten chefs, some of them from the “Master Chef” program joined us to demonstrate the preparation of traditional dishes. Mr. Modar Yunas, the head of the A’ara – Arara local council, Ilan Sadeh, the head of the Menashe local coundil and Knesset member Vaal Yunas participated and greeted the guests. The children created Pieces for Peace for the Peace Quilt Project and we, Arab and Jewish women, sat together to dine and talk. We spoke about our role as women to work towards a better future which will ensure peace for us,our children and our grandchildren. These kinds of activities which create deep bonds prove to us, time and time again, that Peace is Possible. Join us!
