The 2025 David Rockefeller Bridging Leadership Award was presented today in New York to the movement “Women Wage Peace” and its sister organization “Women of the Sun.”
Dr. Yael Admi from Women Wage Peace and her Palestinian partner from Women of the Sun, both founders of their respective movements, represented the Israeli-Palestinian partnership.
The award committee noted that the groundbreaking partnership between Women Wage Peace and Women of the Sun—based on listening, mutual respect, and determination of women – embodies the values of bridging leadership and serves as a global source of inspiration for action, particularly in times of conflict and crisis.

“This award belongs to the thousands of women who continue to walk together—Israelis and Palestinians—even during these difficult times of a terrible war… Especially now, we continue to act in the spirit of our shared Mothers’ Call — for a future of security, freedom, and hope—for all of our children.”
