Women Wage Peace

Pope Franciscus signs the Mothers’ Call of the Israeli movement Women Wage Peace and the Palestinian movement Women of the Sun.

When have you ever seen Israeli and Palestinian peace activists, on stage, in an arena filled with 12,000 people, in the presence of the Pope?
This happened last week!
Yael Admi and Hyam Tannous from the Israeli Women Wage Peace and Reem Hajajra from the Palestinian Women of the Sun were invited to send a filmed message to a peace conference which took place in Verona, Italy.
Maoz Inon, an Israeli peace activist and Aziz Abu Sarah, a Palestinian peace activist, both from bereaved families, were invited to speak and to present, on our behalf, the joint Israeli and Palestinian Mothers’ Call to the Pope.
Especially in these difficult times, the support for us, by those seeking peace, is getting stronger throughout the world.
Join us and sign the Mothers’ Call, because it’s time to end the terrible conflict which has made all residents of the region miserable, for too many years.
