During President Biden’s visit, hundreds of women from the Israeli movement Women Wage Peace and the Palestinian movement Women of the Sun met in Jerusalem today and marched together to the Lions Fountain with this message to President Biden and to the Israeli leadership:
Put peace with the Palestinians on the agenda of your visit.
Over the past few months the two women’s movements have held several events demanding that the leadership of both sides promote a political agreement between Israelis and Palestinians.
