In the midst of the Corona crisis and just before Holocaust Remembrance Day, we were informed that a \u201cnational emergency government\u201d would be formed.<\/p>\n

After a year and a half of uncertainty and at the height of an economic and health crisis, the Likud and Kahol-Lavan parties came to a coalition agreement.
\nThe coalition agreement does not relate to any of the most worrisome issues: livelihood, health, and the future of our children. But it does deal with annexing territories in Judea and Samaria at the beginning of July.
\n<\/span><\/p>\n

Unilateral annexation can lead to additional dangers. It might harm the existing peace agreements with our neighbors and it might ignite the entire region. It can block an honorable and respectful agreement with the Palestinians.
\n<\/span><\/p>\n

As women, we know that reciprocity, listening, respect and compassion are necessary components for building a better future for us and for our neighbors. We call on Netanyahu, Gantz and all the parties in the new government to avoid unilateral annexation. Any change must be agreed upon and accepted by both sides. Unilateral action is harmful to human rights and may perpetuate violence.
\nWe call on the government-in-the-making to promote a sustainable peace with our neighbors.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
