Women Wage Peace are proud to announce that Dr. Yael Admi, one of the founders of the Israeli movement “Women Wage Peace” with one of the founders of the Palestinian women’s movement “Women of the Sun” were among the 12 women leaders who were chosen for Time Magazine’s list of Women of the Year 2024.
Time Magazine publishes a list of Women of the Year for Women’s Day which includes extraordinary leaders who fight for a more equitable future.
During these difficult times, we are fighting against despair, and are carrying a flag of hope for a better future. We were moved by the choice of TIME magazine and this gives us the strength to continue our difficult journey, especially now. During this terrible period when all of us are experiencing pain and suffering, we share the call for ending this terrible conflict through political processes and working for the sake of our children’s future, with our sister movement “Women of the Sun”.
