Many members throughout the country have been part of the weekly protests against the judicial overhaul, taking it a step further with WWP’s message that there’s no democracy without equality, and no security without peace.
Recent projects and programs include:
- Building a Peaceful Future – three training sessions for a younger generation of peace activists and new members considered how the absence of peace affected every area of their lives. Participants will meet with members of Women of the Sun to produce a joint event based on their training.
- the Mother Tongue Project – Hebrew-speaking members of WWP study conversational Arabic through an on-line course and Arabic-speaking members of WOS study Hebrew during sixteen weekly Zoom classes requiring full attendance and weekly homework.
- Activating the Field – with an eye toward the Oct 4th summit, WWP activists are organizing local meetings for both active and dormant members of the movement, sharing recent activities and details about this upcoming peak activity of 2023.
